I am married to a wonderful human who I’m lucky to call my husband and Momma to 2 beautiful little girls, Shayla & Amaya. I’m also a dog mom to Iggy, the sweetest mini Labradoodle you’ll ever meet- fact! I’m a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Food Blogger.
For years, I’ve been following food bloggers and have pulled inspiration from so many amazing cooks and recipe developers. I’ve always wanted a blog of my own, a place to share my recipes. I’ve gotten so much encouragement from Nirav (husbands are the best supporters) and other family members so I’m doing just that, using cooking and blogging as my creative outlet as I navigate this world called parenthood. I share recipes, cooking tips, tricks, and batch cooking ideas that will help those who are busy, need meal prep ideas and are looking for healthy alternatives.
As a Registered Dietitian, I have spent so much of my time explaining to people/patients that healthy meals don’t have to be bland, boring and unappetizing. I’m excited to share some of my (and my husband’s) favorite recipes. Some are quick and simple and some take a little more time. The one thing consistent is flavor. We love a good tasty meal at the end of a long, crazy, and usually exhausting day! I’m pulling inspiration from old recipes that I’ve recreated and new ones simply inspired by something we tasted at a restaurant or I saw on TV.
