Sun Dried Tomato and Basil TapenadeCourse: Appetizers
This is such a quick way to elevate your charcuterie board or serve as a delicious appetizer with some bread/crackers!
¼ cup packed sun-dried tomatoes (from jar)
½ cup black olives (sub with kalamata, adjust salt per taste)
1-2 cloves of garlic
1-2 tablespoon oil from jar of sun-dried tomatoes or use olive oil
coarse salt and pepper to taste
½ tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
- Place all ingredients except oil into food processor. Start food processor on puree mode and pulse. Scrape sides down as needed. Once you reach a crumble like texture, add oil and puree again. Puree to your liking. I like a little bite to mine so I leave it a little chunky.
- Ready to serve! Enjoy!
- Store in a tightly sealed jar for up to 10 days. If you have leftovers, it is delicious on grilled chicken or white fish!
